WHO I AM
Hello, my name is Nadav Hecht Drayson - musician, producer, industrial designer, inventor and synthesizer builder. For decades I've been living music and technology, investing all my energy into creation. From playing wind instruments, string instruments and percussion, to synthesizers and music production, to industrial design and manufacturing, to mechanics, robotics and electronics - always with the desire to understand everything and create tools and electronics that express the unique musical potential of every idea.
HOW IT ALL CONNECTS
The essence of my journey is an endless love for creation, and the desire to understand deeply and practically. The curiosity that drives me pushes me to explore everything in depth; the burning desire to learn and discover more about the world keeps me awake at night, thinking, designing, developing and producing - always with the wish to create and invent new electronics, new sounds and new ways of thinking and production. This journey has taught me that there is no substitute for experience, and that the desire to understand is what keeps the fire burning in all of us.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
I've developed the GUR course to deliver the most advanced knowledge and tools I've gathered over the years. You'll learn music production from the ground up, synthesis, design and building of electronic instruments, understanding how everything works under the hood, and production methods that will enable you to create your own music. THE APPROACH
I don't touch the surface - I dive deep, and not just in theory, electronics or production, but also in the mindset. Electronics and production are not separate from creativity. The goal is not just to acquire a "workflow" but to open the mind and create your own workflow. I'll open for you a world of knowledge, show you the thinking behind every decision, the concepts that guide my path, and the tools I've built with my own hands.
The goal is that you'll be able to continue independently, invent your own tools, develop your own electronics and express your unique voice in every musical creation. This journey is not for everyone - it requires passion, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn. If you have fire in your soul and a drive to understand, create and be part of something meaningful, this course is for you.
Lessons are one-on-one and suit beginners and advanced students alike - producers, DJs and musicians.
